Janusz Lenkiewicz - trainer, consultant, manager with fifteen years of practice and experience.
Education: Gdańsk Technical University graduate. Machine Building faculty.
In years 1993 - 2001 I worked for ABB Zamech Ltd. company in Elbląg. In 1993 I co-created the first Polish quality management system, certified by BSI organisation, consistent with
ISO 9000 standard. In 1994 - 2001 I managed among other things: a marine service organisation and an industrial service organisation. My duties involved: budget planning and realisation, employee team management in an organisation at central and regional level. This was based in Gdańsk, Olsztyn, Kwidzyn and Szczecin. I was responsible for process improvement in the organisations.
As of 2002 I have been working for Philips Lighting Poland S. A., in Piła. I implemented an integrated quality management system in an organisation which managed a burner factory and a compact fluorescent lamp assembly factory. In 2003 - 2005 I was responsible for implementation and management of a Green Belt program. Scope of activities concerned: creation, improvement and coordination of trainer team, preparation and realisation of training schedules, training program's improvement, supervising realisation of improvement projects and project leaders coaching. The Green Belt program was implemented in eighteen production, trade and services organisations at Philips in Poland. Two hundred improvement projects were completed, which generated two million euro financial profit. I worked out and accomplished training programs in respect of project management, process improvement and other, for external organisations within the program.
In years 2005 - 2007 I was responsible for quality of products delivered by Buy for Resale.
My duties involved: quality engineers' and controllers' team building and management, negotiation and realisation of quality agreements with European and Asian suppliers, including audit of production processes and quality systems. I organised and realised know-how process transfer to Asian suppliers.
In years 2007 - 2009 I was responsible for adaptation of special lamps factories to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations. My duties involved: implementation of FDA training programs, adjustment of quality management systems in accordance to FDA regulations, implementation of FDA inspection techniques (QSIT), implementation of training program for internal FDA inspectors and preparation for external FDA inspections.
I have substantial knowledge in comprehensive implementation of projects concerning creation and improvement of quality management systems as well as organisations' improvement and training.
